Spirituality
He gives discourses on Bhagvad Gita which to him is the ultimate science. His deep reverence towards this holy book makes him firmly acknowledge that “Bhagvad Gita is my Guru”.
He makes the masses understand the essence of life, which Gita clearly suggests is one’s own Karmas. To him human accounts can go wrong but God’s accounts can never go wrong. Therefore he often suggests, “Please don’t try and fool others because you are only fooling yourself, since nothing, no matter how smartly a negative action is executed, cannot escape the Nature and its Laws”.
Once a reporter asked him, is it right for people to walk in temple without shoes? To this he answered by saying “God is not dogmatic or narrow minded. It is us through our thoughts which make God look dogmatic. He further adds there is no being living or dead more broad minded then God.” Also when asked to distinguish between Religion and Spirituality, he promptly says, that, “Religion is man made and Spirituality is God made. Religion induces fear and Spirituality takes one to freedom”.
In Indian mythology, there are said to be millions of Devi (Godesses) and Devatas (Gods), however, no one ever claimed to be God the Almighty except for lord Krishna in Bhagvad Gita. This is what Lord Krishna say in Gita.
